By accessing or using Presence ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Presence is a focus and accountability app that allows users to track focus sessions, build streaks, connect with friends, and participate in community focus rooms.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Upload malicious content or spam
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

5. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Presence Lab and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create. By using the App, you grant us a license to use, display, and share your content as necessary to provide the service (e.g., showing your display name to friends).

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay the subscription fee at the rate displayed at purchase
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the renewal date
• No refunds for partial subscription periods

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Please refer to Apple's terms for subscription management and refund policies.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Presence Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
